SEA KAYAK

SEEING NATURE IN ITS FINEST LIGHT

The West Coast of Scotland really is one of the greatest sea kayaking destinations in the world. Connect with wildlife living in the crystal clear waters and on the white sandy beaches; some of the most beautiful in the British Isles. The West Coast of Scotland is home to a variety of marine life, from seals and porpoises located close to shore, to whales and dolphins further out to sea.

Our main trips are based out of the gorgeous Arisaig bay or Loch Moidart / Glenuig area, which are just under an hour’s drive (on route to Mallaig) from Fort William. Other venues are available if you are looking for something a bit closer to your accommodation.

We use Dagger Stratos’ as our craft of choice due to its comfort, stability and maneuverability. All safety equipment will be provided, as well as a long-john wetsuit and cag (a fancy name for a water proof top) to help keep you warm and dry. We will provide advice on what to wear and details about exact meeting spots with your email booking confirmation.

If you are lucky enough to have already paddled in the locations below and would like to explore somewhere different, please get in touch and we can discuss other West Coast venues.

Prices

  • Inclusive of up to 2 people: £260 (private trip)
  • Additional people: £60 per head

Minimum age is 13 years old (for under 13’s, please see our canoeing trips). If you are over 6ft 3 in height or feel you would require a wetsuit bigger than the size XL, please get in touch before booking.

We strongly recommend that all participants take out travel insurance that includes trip cancellation, medical coverage, and personal liability. This ensures you’re financially protected in case unexpected events prevent you from finishing the trip.
