Loch Morar: A Family Day Out
About the trip
A day filled with games, exploration and of course, plenty of splashing and swimming! This is the perfect way to give the kids a special treat during their summer holidays. Our ‘Family Day Out’ trip is based out of Britain’s deepest loch, Loch Morar. Surrounded by mountains and islands, you will get the chance to explore the loch and discover the beauty of what this landscape has to offer. Keep your eyes peeled too as Loch Morar is home to not only Morag (the Loch Morar monster), but also nesting sea eagles!
With plenty of beautiful bays and beaches, bring a packed lunch or opt for a BBQ and watch the kids have fun attempting our wet canoe challenges whilst the burgers are cooking.
This trip can be adapted to suit non-family groups, such as couples / friends / corporate events. Our family day out theme can also be used on any of our other loch based canoe trips, so if the other venues we offer are closer to your accommodation, please feel free to select that trip instead and simply put on your booking form that you would like the above theme.

This was our second trip with Reece and River to Sea Scotland, and was just as fantastic as the first trip. Reece really worked hard to tailor the day to our group, and we all loved it. The children (5+7yo) really enjoyed the day and spent loads of time with Reece in his canoe as well as in our canoe! The extra touches like the games and water pistols were great and made it even more memorable. Thank you so much, we will be going again next year! – Jane Hemm (TripAdvisor)
